Jay Hirsh
Managing Partner & Founder
Jay Hirsh founded Jumbo Capital Incorporated, LLC in 2009. He is responsible for all aspects of acquisitions, dispositions and asset management.

Prior to founding Jumbo Capital Incorporated, LLC, Jay was a Vice President in the Acquisitions Group at New Boston Fund, Inc., a Boston-based, real estate investment management firm that manages over $1.2B in private equity capital on behalf of high net worth and institutional investors. Jay managed asset acquisitions in New England, property management, leasing issues and dispositions.

In addition to his responsibilities with Jumbo Capital Incorporated, Jay Hirsh is Managing Partner of the Hingham Shipyard Marinas (https://www.hinghamshipyardmarina.com/). Jay is an active member of NAIOP and ULI. He attended Tufts University where he earned a B.A. in Economics.
Danielle Heaps
Partner
Danielle joined Jumbo Capital Incorporated in May 2011 with prior experience in Operations, Business Management, Human Resources, Accounting, and Corporate Communications. As Partner Danielle is Head of Operations and is responsible for overall Corporate Finance, General Operations and Strategy, Company Communications, Office Management, and Human Resources.

Prior to Jumbo, Danielle co-founded and resided as the President of Deaf Community Enterprises Inc., a nonprofit focused on providing services and assistive communication devices for the Disabled Community. Danielle attended Boston University where she received a B.A. in Education.
Jordan Berns
Partner
Jordan joined Jumbo Capital Incorporated, LLC in June 2014 with prior experience in acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions. Jordan is responsible for acquisitions and asset management.

Prior to joining JCI, Jordan was an asset manager with Campanelli, a three generation real estate firm with millions of square feet under its management. Jordan was responsible for the leasing, management, and capital requirements on more than one million square feet. Asset classes included industrial complexes, office parks, and medical buildings.

Prior to his work at Campanelli, Jordan was a Vice President at Tramell Crow Company, where he sourced and acquired value-added real estate for a $300 MM private equity fund. Jordan graduated from American University with a B.S. in International Finance.
Bradford A. Spencer
Partner
Brad joined Jumbo Capital Incorporated, LLC in January 2015 and has 30 years of CRE experience primarily in the greater Boston area. While serving executive sales roles at NAI Hunneman, Grubb & Ellis and later Newmark (NGKF), Brad's responsibilities included corporate real estate strategy, lease vs. buy analysis, financial analysis, site selection, permitting, construction, asset management, and development. Brad was consistently a top producer and earned numerous industry awards such as “#1 Broker nationally" at Grubb & Ellis and in 2011 was awarded the “Largest Suburban Office deal of the year" at the annual CBA Awards dinner. Prior clients have included Acme Packet (Oracle), Divco, Boston Properties, Gutierrez Co., Nordblom, Fedex, Cameron, and most recently 128 Technology of Burlington.

Brad will bring his wealth of industry experience to bear in expanding JCI assets under ownership/management, raising both debt and equity, and expanding all facets of Business Development such as sales and leasing for the firm.

Brad earned his B.A. in Finance (School of Management) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and won the prestigious Wall Street Journal Award for the top finance major in the class of 1985.
Steve Laverty
Partner
Steve Laverty joined Jumbo Capital Incorporated, LLC in 2016. He is responsible for development and construction.

Steve began his career in construction management at Berry and Suffolk Construction, working exclusively with institutional healthcare clients. Later transitioning to development management, Steve's experience expanded to include office, residential and industrial asset classes.

In addition to his responsibilities with Jumbo, Steve is Principal of its affiliate construction company; Surus Development & Construction, LLC.

Steve earned his M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and his B.A. in Business Administration from Roanoke College. Steve holds a MA unrestricted construction supervisors license and is OSHA certified. Steve is an officer and active contributor at the Somerville Youth Development & Boxing Club.
